I recently completed a bikepacking tour of the top of the Coromandel. I took a snap of Antoine grinding up the Tuateawa Road in the rain and painted it later at home. His green raincoat and Surly Krampus bike make the perfect camouflage.
You can see he's still smiling.... we were yet to get to the dreaded climb out of Kennedy Bay!
