I feel like I’m pedalling through history when I ride past this cute old cottage at the bottom of the Grafton Gully Cycleway.
I’m usually quickly snapped out of any dream state by the traffic backed up the hill in front of it though.
From what I can find online it was built around 1859 and is one of the oldest wooden buildings in Auckland.
