I'm not a tennis fan like some in the family, so reluctantly agreed to go along and watch a bit of the Westend Cup
down at Cox's Bay on Sunday. It was a stunning day and the tennis was pretty exciting too with some of our top players on court. The umpire was the only person decent enough to sit still long enough for a decent sketch.
Top: Artem Sitak and Rubin Statham in the mens final
Below: Emily Fanning and Emma Hayman in the Women's Final.
An attempt to capture a serve during a woman's singles match. Great views of the harbour from the far court though...
As an old tennis player, these are great, they really capture the action.
Your sense of line is on the money.
The Ferry ride/School trip is good too!
Cheers & Ciao
