Escape to the Bay of Islands

Galaxy of Cars 2018

An enjoyable few hours drawing old cars again after some months drawing old houses for the Past and Present exhibition currently on at Railway studios. There is always something of interest at The Galaxy of Cars.

(I also got a Riley 9 Lord March special replica, but managed to ruin the sketch somehow - definitely a bit out of practice, and that was the first sketch of the day). I particularly enjoyed trying to suggest the volume of those big curvaceous front guards on the Allard and the reflective curves of the Bristol.
